Kim Spence first joined Baird Williams & Greer in 2000, providing support to attorneys as the firm’s managing paralegal. In 2008, Kim was promoted to the position of firm administrator. She is responsible for and oversees all staffing needs.

As the firm’s administrator, Kim manages all the firm’s functions and oversees every administrative matter affecting BWG. Working closely with the partners, she is responsible for the firm’s operations, including business development, human resources, billings, collections and other related finances. Kim also assists the firm with operational analyses, including internal audits, cost/benefit analyses, system performance evaluations and policy analyses. She shares responsibility with the firm’s partners regarding strategic planning, financial budgeting, resource allocation and practice management.

In addition, Kim facilitates and coordinates the technology needs for the firm, as well as helps to identify and plan for the changing needs of the firm, including staff recruiting.

Kim possesses a deep understanding of law and procedure. As a former BWG paralegal, she worked on complex commercial litigation cases from preliminary due diligence to strategy, deposition, arbitration and trial.

As a paralegal, Kim assisted on several cases that went to jury with multi-million dollar verdicts in favor of Baird Williams & Greer clients. She was instrumental in the firm’s representation of a $500 million dollar Baptist Foundation of Arizona criminal defense litigation, which involved several millions of documents during discovery, and nearly 20,000 trial exhibits.

Kim’s exceptional leadership continues to be key to the firm’s unprecedented success.
